Terms

These are the terms for using No One Wants Your App — both the free diagnosis you can apply for and the paid report you can buy. They are short on purpose.

The free diagnosis

• Applying is free, and applying is not a purchase. We never ask a free applicant for payment, and sending us an application does not put you under any obligation.
• We do not promise to take your case. We look at applications and choose a small number of them. We may decline yours, or reply with questions instead, and we do not promise to reply by any particular time.
• Applications open and close as we have capacity. When they are closed the form is unavailable and nothing you send is recorded.
• If we do work on your case, we will send you what we find by email. There is no fixed format, length or deadline for a free diagnosis.

Evidence you send us

• If we look into your case we may send you a private link asking for a few specific things, which can include uploading files. Sending them is your choice, and sending them still doesn't oblige either of us to anything.
• Please don't upload passwords, API keys, access tokens, or anything containing your customers' personal details. We don't need them and we don't want them.
• You confirm that what you send is yours to share and that you're allowed to share it. Don't send us a third party's confidential information.
• The link is private to your case, expires, and can be switched off — please don't forward it. Once you send your evidence that request is closed; if something else is needed, we'll open another one.
• Keep your own copies. We may delete uploaded material at any time, and we will delete it on request.

What you are buying (paid report)

A one-time, US$29 digital research service: one manually researched, written report about the project you describe before payment and in the post-purchase questionnaire, delivered by email to the address you used at checkout. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.

Delivery

We aim to deliver your paid report within 24 hours of receiving your completed questionnaire. If we need more information we will email you at your checkout address, and the 24 hours runs from your reply. This timing applies to paid reports only.

What our research is — and isn't

• It is informational business research based on publicly available evidence and what you tell us.
• It is not a prediction or guarantee of whether any business will succeed or fail.
• It is not legal, tax, accounting, financial, or investment advice, and it does not create any professional-client relationship.
• Decisions about your project, and any money you spend or don't spend, remain entirely yours.

Refunds

If we are unable to provide the report you purchased — for example because your questionnaire never reaches us, or the project falls outside what we can research — we will refund the full $29 to your original payment method. Refund requests should reply to your Stripe receipt or report email. Because the report is a custom piece of work, we do not otherwise offer refunds once it has been delivered. Nothing is paid for a free diagnosis, so there is nothing to refund.

Your information

You agree that the information you submit — in an application, a questionnaire, or an evidence request — is yours to share and does not include anything you are not allowed to disclose. Please don't send us anyone else's confidential information. How we handle what you send is described in our Privacy page.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for anything arising from our research or these terms is limited to the amount you paid us for it — which, for a free diagnosis, is nothing.

Changes

We may update these terms; the version in force when you purchase applies to your order, and the version in force when you apply applies to your application.
