Verdict

Prove this next

Do not rebuild Pro and do not change the $49 price yet.

Across seven days, 21 visitor-days* reached something locked behind Pro. 18 reached a locked manufacturer record. Nobody bought.

That is not enough clean exposure to tell whether the problem is the offer, the price, or something else.

Google Ads visitor-days reached a Pro paywall

*A visitor-day is one device on one day. The same person on two days counts twice. Excludes our own testing and recruited users.

Why we're saying this

You don't have enough clean evidence yet.

Search is clearly failing for some people. But we could not show that those failed searches caused the lack of sales.

We also could not show that $49, the subscription, trust, or the Pro offer is the reason people did not buy.

Changing Pro now would mean guessing.

Do this next

Keep the current Pro offer and remove payment friction for one record.

When someone reaches the paywall on a manufacturer they've already opened, add one offer:

See the full record for this manufacturer, free, once.

Ask for an email, then unlock that exact record.

Do not move the sign-up step earlier. Do not give away more than one record.

How to judge it

Run it until 40 eligible visitors see the offer, or 21 days pass.

Click rate
Of the people who see the free-record offer, how many click it?
Unlock rate
Of those same eligible visitors, how many finish sign-up and actually unlock the record?

Judge the test on click rate.

  • 40% or morestrong interest in the deeper record
  • 15% or lessweak interest in the current Pro value
  • 16% to 39%inconclusive

Why these numbers

At your recent traffic, 40 eligible visitors should be reachable within 21 days without spending extra just to finish the test. With 40 visitors, 6 or fewer clicks counts as weak and 16 or more counts as strong. The wide middle is intentional: if the result is not clear, do not make a major change yet.

Track unlock rate separately.

If you do not reach 40 eligible visitors within 21 days, stop. Do not buy traffic just to finish the test.

What we found

  • From 39 Google Ads visitor-days, 17 reached the manufacturer workspace and 8 reached a Pro paywall.
  • 33 of 56 finished text searches returned no results. That is a real search problem, but we could not show that it caused the lack of sales.
  • We also saw checkout activity, but one came from a recruited user and another could not be cleanly classified. We did not use either as evidence about price.

Don’t do yet

  • Do not rebuild Pro. You have not shown that the current offer failed.
  • Do not change $49. There is not enough clean purchase evidence to diagnose price.
  • Do not spend money just to finish this test. The test should prevent unnecessary spending, not create it.

Bottom line

Leave Pro and the $49 price alone for now.

Add the one-free-record offer at the current manufacturer paywall. Ask for an email, then unlock that exact record.

Run it for 40 eligible visitors or 21 days.

40%+ click rate: keep testing how to monetize the deeper record.

15% or less: rethink what Pro gives people before changing the price.

Anything between: you still do not have enough evidence for a major change.
